Let’s face it- raising kids costs a few bucks. And eating out with kids can be expensive. The Red Lion is a child friendly pub that’s budget friendly too.

  • there are high chairs
  • there’s a baby change
  •  kid’s menu
  • there is enough room for the pram
  • no special kid’s activities
  • kids eat free on Saturday and other days it’s $7 which includes dessert.

The Red Lion doesn’t have a playground or a kid’s activity bag. However you can overlook the “extras” when you realise it’s a bargain place to eat. Lunch for the grown ups is $10.99 and dinner is $16.99 which includes the salad bar. The salad bar is actually quite handy because it can get quite tense waiting for meals with the little diners at the table. You don’t have to worry about them getting into that bored and hungry zone, as they can top up at the salad bar as they need to.
